December Pilot Meeting Minutes

0900 12/20/25 Meeting began

Present: Bill Worth, Mike Robinson, Vick Poulis, Erik Jackson, Stan Bush, Ralph Navar and Wife

1. Mike Robinson gave a rundown on the fuel situation, we are looking at above ground tanks once the buried tank is removed. Looking at a 10,000 gallon capacity fiberglass above ground when we replace it. Mrs. Navar suggested some resources to find out the present tank history before we remove it.

2. Maintenance, Eric Jackson gave us a rundown on his ongoing maintenance of the runways and taxiways

4. Hanger questions: Stan Bush addressed the meeting with his experiences building his new hanger, with a cost estimate of around $200K for a new hanger as long as it remains below 2000 square feet, he warned that larger hangers become commercial with far more restrictions.

5. We have two new pilots moving into the neighborhood and have lost two moving away.

6. Bill Worth commented on the number of pilots who discovered Cielo Dorado during our AVGAS distribution with their questions. Many were impressed with the facility and wanted to know. He mentioned that it may be worth our time to set up a fly in this year to encourage more aviation in the neighborhood and possibly increase the pilot community
