Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Cielo Dorado Meeting Room

Wednesday, May 14, 2025

The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. with a quorum (Jesus Delgado, Dave Daniels, John Dworak, and Gregory Parham) of board members present. Pam Stewart arrived at 6:28. Patrick Bustamante and Mitch Moss were absent. Four guests attended the meeting. Cheri Hollomon and Sheldon Wheeler represented DANA Properties.

Minutes – the minutes from the previous meeting were approved as submitted.

The financial report was presented by John and approved as submitted with discussion of the delinquent property owners.

Committee Reports - the Paved Surfaces Committee is working on crack sealing; the Gate Committee reported that the south entrance gate is not working and has been reported to Amador; Maintenance/Vector/Water Committee reported that mosquito control is behind schedule due to high winds; the Pilot Committee is hosting a Young Eagles event on May 17; the Covenants Committee asked DANA Properties to send a letter to the owner of a vacant lot on Cielo Dorado once an exact address is furnished, a certified letter to the owner of 6 Cielo Dorado regarding junk vehicles, a letter to 6 Cielo del Este regarding storage containers and a letter to 16 Cielo del Rey regarding their yard. Greg distributed proposed Covenant revisions to board members. Traffic Committee is getting a quote on signage and the Welcome/Social Committee did not have anything to report.

Old Business – no updates regarding the county’s zoning board decision regarding a proposed cannabis establishment at 1240 Gardner Road.

New Business – Motion was approved to change the board meeting dates to the third Tuesday monthly. Motion was approved to limit open forum to three minutes per resident with a total time limit of 30 minutes for open discussion. The board will look into wind damage to the storage area by the T-hangars.

The Board met in Executive Session and authorized Robert Skipworth to file suit for collection of past-due assessments at 19 Cielo Dorado.
