September Pilot Meeting

0900 Meeting began. Septe 13, 2025

Attending: Bill Worth, Jean Bush, Stan Bush, Mike Robinson, Vick Poulis, Dave Daniels, John Cunningham

1. Discussion of the new light sport rules and opportunities

2. Discussion of the poor condition of the runways and taxiways and the plans to replace the current maintenance company.

3. Need for English speakers working around the airport and whether the FAA regs are to be followed by private airfields

4. Progress on patching the runway and taxiways will continue as the weather cools, and the mosquitoes depart.

5. Discussion of removing the overrun barriers when the irrigation season ends so that overruns are not damaged, as suggested by NTSB and FAA after the accident with the Mooney a few years ago.

6. General discussion of aviation matters

7. Plan is to order full truck 8000 gallons of fuel in Nove
