Saturday January 4th

0900 Called meeting to order

Attendees;

Bill Worth, Tom Navar, Stan Bush, Jean Bush, Randy Boone, John Cunningham, Doug Dobbin, George Cudahy, Jesue Delgado

1. Safety discussion on turning around and making the field after takeoff, with reference to the accident last week of the RV-10 in California. The 1000 foot AGL rule not really pertaining to our higher altitude, it was generally suggested that pilots get up to altitude and see just what it takes for a 360 degree return to the airport as all planes are different

2. Fuel Cost with out new 8000 gallons will be $5.15 per gallon as soon as we can get it changed, will inform pilots when the new charge starts. Tom Navar asked a question on the additional airport fee on wholesale and the charge for credit that have been added. Bill Worth explained the thinking on those fees.

3. A discussion on the deteriorating taxiways and the need for crack filling, as well as the most recent bid. Pilots Committee discussion on finding another supplier of the tarring as the bid was very high

4. The ongoing approval process that Stan and Jean Bush are going through with Dona Ana County. This is a very important item as all aircraft in our environment must have hanger space and cannot be left outside in the dust, wind, and hail. It is important that this is resolved for the future of Cielo Dorado

5. A general discussion of aviation matters followed and the meeting concluded at 0945
